Basil Brook

Pollution Incident

There has been a release of raw sewage into Basil Brook at the end of August.

Whilst the broken pipe that led to the leak has been repaired the area has not been cleared of contamination.  Severn Trent say that they will leave it to heavy rain to disperse the spillage.

The Parish Council want to warn people to be wary of the issue and to wash hands (and maybe pets) after being near the water or banks of the brook.
