The clerk would report this to Rooftop Housing<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>PLANNING:<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>a)   <strong>16\/00209 8 Evergreen, Main Road \u2013 <\/strong>Awaiting additional information from WDC<\/p>\n<p><strong>b)   16\/00210 Severn Acres, Main Road \u2013<\/strong> Two plot caravan site \u2013 refused by WDC<\/p>\n<p><strong>c)   16\/02754 &amp; 16\/02753 Midcott, Middle Lane \u2013 <\/strong>awaiting decision by WDC<\/p>\n<p><strong>d)  17\/00689\/LB \u2013<\/strong> <strong>Little Cottage, Middle Lane \u2013 <em>Cllr King left the room <\/em><\/strong> &#8211; There were no objections to this application. All in favour<\/p>\n<p><strong>f)  17\/00798LB Quoice Cottage, Kennel Bank <\/strong>No objections \u2013 all in favour<\/p>\n<p><strong>Miscellaneous Planning Concerns: &#8211; <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>(i)  Stricklands \u2013 Living accommodation issues \u2013 with enforcement team to organise a site visit<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>(ii)  Severn Acres \u2013 second access \u2013 <\/strong>With enforcement officer<\/p>\n<p><strong>(iii) Kimberleys Land \u2013<\/strong> WDC Enforcements had written to the new owners<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>VILLAGE HALL<\/strong> \u2013copy available from the clerk.  It was agreed that the parish council write to Charlton Parish Council, asking them to make a contribution to the maintenance and running costs<\/li>\n<li><strong>COUNTY COUNCILLORS REPORT<\/strong> \u2013 None<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>DISTRICT COUNCILLORS REPORT \u2013 <\/strong>District Cllr M English reported on the enforcement issues above.  She advised that she would be supporting the NHB application for the \u2018speed project\u2019<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>MATTERS ARISING:<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>\n  Smart Water \u2013  It was agreed a flier be distributed to all homes asking for those who haven\u2019t received their kits to contact the clerk.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>2017\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>\n  Lengthsman \u2013 It was agreed we ask the Lengthsman to keep the bottom of Baldwins Bank clear \u2013 strimming on a monthly basis<\/li>\n<li>\n  New Homes Bonus \u2013 There is approximately \u00a321,000 of NHB (after the speed project has been paid for).  Suggestions received have been for some land to be purchased to provide allotments for village residents, a new mower for the Sheppey recreation area and pitches and a shed for storing tables and chairs for Walkabout and village hall.  Enquiries are being made with regard full costs and options<\/li>\n<li>\n  Baldwins Bank \u2013 No further action required at the moment other than a monthly strim by the LM<\/li>\n<li>\n  Traveller Consultation \u2013 Awaiting outcome of consultation<\/li>\n<li>\n  Speeding \u2013 B4084 \u2013 NHB application has been submitted to WDC \u2013 awaiting outcome<\/li>\n<li>\n  Parish Councils Chairmans Meeting \u2013 A meeting is to be scheduled for end of March. Cllr Clive offered to take a look<\/li>\n<li>\n    Lower Croft \u2013 it was reported that there was a vehicle permanently on bocks \u2013 the clerk would report this to Rooftop Housing<\/li>\n<li>\n    A second vehicle was reported as being untaxed \u2013 the clerk was asked to report this to WDC<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>12.  PROPOSED CREMATORIUM \u2013 FLADBURY \u2013 <\/strong>Fladbury Parish Council had asked we wanted to make comments on the planning application for the proposed Crematorium.  The parish council appreciated that there is a need for this in the area but were not convinced that there would be a significant increase in traffic through Cropthorne.<\/p>\n<p><strong>2107\/11<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>13.  AOB\/MATTERS FOR FUTURE DISCUSSION<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n    Cllr Segar reported of the problems experienced by residents in Lower Croft, Middle Lane and Blacksmiths Lane, caused by visitors to Cropthorne Walkabout wanting to avoid parking fees and opting to park in the roads rather than the designated car-park.  It was suggested that the previously used system of free parking with an entry fee was much less disruptive.
