Cllr Annis reported on the proposal for two<\/p>\n<p>Site in Cropthorne, one in Blacksmiths Lane (23 homes) and a second in Middle Lane (13 homes).  It was considered that the village needed to allow some development but on smaller scales, similar in size to the new homes at Sheppey Corner.  Points raised:<\/p>\n<p>a)  \tCropthorne has been designated as a Category 2 village, based on the bus service, no longer operation through the village.  It was considered that this should be emphasised<\/p>\n<p>b)\tWith regard the large of the two sites, in Blacksmiths Lane, there is no obvious access to the site.
