{"id":232,"date":"2020-08-16T16:05:09","date_gmt":"2020-08-16T15:05:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cropthorneparishcouncil.co.uk\/?p=232"},"modified":"2020-08-16T16:11:21","modified_gmt":"2020-08-16T15:11:21","slug":"minutes-february-2019","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cropthorneparishcouncil.co.uk\/index.php\/minutes-february-2019\/","title":{"rendered":"Minutes February 2019"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a id=\"post-232-_Hlk503447942\"><\/a><strong>2019\/04<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Minutes from a meeting of Cropthorne Parish Council held on Monday February 4th 2019 in the Village Hall at 7pm<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>PRESENT:<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Acting Chairman S Smythe\tCllr R Segar\tCllr R Kelly<\/p>\n<p>Cllr W Clive \t\t\tCllr J King<\/p>\n<p>Cllr M Anderson\t\tClerk L Yapp<\/p>\n<p>County Cllr E Eyre\t\t members of the public<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>APOLOGIES<\/strong>  were received from Cllr B Annis<\/li>\n<li><strong>DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST \u2013 <\/strong>Cllr J King \u2013 Village Hall matters<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>APPROVAL OF MINUTES <em>\u2013<\/em><\/strong> Minutes from previous meetings were approved and signed \u2013 proposed Cllr Segar, seconded Cllr Clive \u2013 all in favour<\/li>\n<li><strong>PARISHIONERS QUESTION TIME:  <\/strong>1 resident was in attendance and voiced concern with regard the lack of action from the police with regard the ongoing problem with  poaching.  The question regarding the bollards at Lower Croft and the clerk would chase Rooftop Housing about this<\/li>\n<li><strong>PLANNING: <\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ul>\n<li>\n    Field Barn Lane Construction \u2013 the clerk had reported to WDC \/ Enforcements a shed\/garage which appears not to have been through the  planning process.  This had been acknowledged and awaiting a decision from WDC<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>VILLAGE HALL<\/strong> \u2013 Cllr King reported that:<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ul>\n<li>\n    Following the vandalism at the hall last summer, the final third payment had been received.<\/li>\n<li>\n    New lighting is being investigated for the car park<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>HIGHWAY MATTERS :<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ul>\n<li>\n    Water leak Field Barn Lane \u2013 this has been reported to CC, and a response received that they have passed it over to Severn Trent<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>COUNTY COUNCILLORS REPORT \u2013 <\/strong>This has been circulated to Cllrs.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ul>\n<li>\n    Minerals Consultation &#8211; Cllr Eyre emphasised the fact that the emerging Minerals Consultation was of importance to Cropthorne.  Cllrs Smythe and Clive offered to look into this.<strong>  <\/strong><\/li>\n<li>\n    SWDP \u2013 Cllr Eyre pointed out that several sites had been put forward as possible options for Traveller Sites<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>DISTRICT COUNCILLOR<\/strong> \u2013 Nothing to report<\/li>\n<li><strong>MATTERS ARISING:<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>\n  Lengthsman  &#8211; the LM advised that he felt the VAS batteries needed replacing.  Cllr Smythe offered to look into cheaper compatible options rather than those from the VAS suppliers (costlier)<\/li>\n<li>\n  New Home Bonus\/s106 \u2013 the clerk and Cllr King have a meeting scheduled with WDC to discuss s106 and NHB options. A notice had been placed in Five Alive with little response as to options on how to spend NHB<\/li>\n<li>\n  Community Infrastructure Levy Fund- Cllr Eyre would investigate if we could use the monies for 30mph roundels in the road<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>2019\/05<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>\n  Bus Service \u2013 The clerk had been in contact with a local bus company who offer a free Tesco bus but had received conflicting information.  To be re-investigated.
